Portraits come to life

Here are four portraits currently on show in the John Brewster exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art: the portraits bear an uncanny resemblance to four students I know.

If you go to the exhibit at the museum you can see these portraits come to life, when each character talks about their portrait, in ASL.

The Portland Phoenix reviewed the show on February 2nd, and made special mention of the students' contribution to the show: "It's an incredible collection of performances and, however small and quiet, a powerful component of the exhibition."
