I have posted the question in the classroom. We will keep it in mind throughout the rest of the quarter, perhaps for the rest of the academic year.
At some stage we should discover that the question itself, because it asks for a 'yes or no' answer, is inadequate. We will keep this in mind as we explore the question in news topics, stories, literature...and in the way we treat each other.
We were lucky to have the story of the wonderful Mr. Wesley Autrey to refer to shortly after we introduced the question.
